RMA Numbers

Please do not attempt to return products without first receiving an important RMA tracking number from Track Lighting Store.

  • RMA numbers must be requested within 14 days of merchandise delivery.
  • The RMA number should be written on the outer carton of the returned shipment to allow successful processing of any returned items. Sorry, but without an RMA number we cannot accept a returned shipment and the shipment will likely be returned to sender.
  • Returned items should be returned within 15 days of receipt of an RMA number.

    Return Policies

  • We will gladly accept for return any standard item that has not been installed, field-altered, bent, cut or otherwise rendered to an unsellable condition. Unfortunately, non-standard items (items requiring customization such as track heads with factory-installed extension stems or gold-plated items) or items cut to custom lengths may not be returned.
  • Items should be returned in their original box / packaging or we cannot resell them.
  • Please repackage the products carefully. Track Lighting Store cannot be responsible for damage to products incurred in the return shipping process. We recommend that you insure your packages with the shipping provider. We regret that Track Lighting Store cannot pay return shipping.
  • At our discretion, promotional shipping costs applied to the original order may be deducted from the return credit amount in addition to an industry-standard 20% restocking fee.
  • We regret that light bulbs may not be returned for credit due to their fragile nature.

    Damaged or Incomplete Orders

    Accidents happen...in the unlikely event that an order arrives incomplete or having been damaged during shipping, please email customer care or call us immediately for return instructions. Track Lighting Store will provide a replacement or refund for your damaged, incomplete or incorrect order if the damaged item is reported within 14 days.

    Remember to keep the original packaging. You will need it to return the item and FedEx / UPS may want to inspect the outer carton.

    Product Warranties

    Although warranties vary slightly among our suppliers, in general each manufacturer warranties that their products will be free from defects in workmanship or materials. Each manufacturer will repair or replace products discovered to have such defects for a period of one year from the time of sale. Manufacturers will not be responsible for installation or shipping charges incurred in the remedy process and light bulbs included with fixtures are not covered.

    Without exception, manufacturer warranties require that only compatible parts (parts they sell) are used in the installation and operation of their systems. Use of another party's transformer (for example) would render the warranty void. Please contact Track Lighting Store customer care with questions about warranties from specific manufacturers.
